Working in a call center has its perks and of course downsides, but let me cite the good stuffs though.
I like the fact that you can meet new set of people especially coming from academe. You simply get amazed by the varying personalities you will encounter from supervisors, colleagues and clients. And, I can only hope for the best.
Another good side is the good pay. It simply has a lot of tangible perks and I cant say more about this though. :)
But, what I love more too is the freedom we get from choosing our clothing styles (non - professional looking though is taboo).

So, at least, I get too wear jeans or dresses, with my favorite casual bags, sneakers or tees and cotton jacket.
It is not a job for everyone though and I am still learning the ropes. But, the fashion style for call center for most people is just to be yourself within the company fashion bounds.
