Aleera Montalla for Kreativ Boutique

Aleera in our Counter Area

Our Kreativ Boutique pics of

Aleera Montalla - Model/Actress

My sister, Tammy, happens to be a friend of Aleera Montalla, and without much coaxing, Aleera gave her go signal to use her pictures in our humble store and we can only be happier that she approved and that people get to notice our store.

Aleera's films include Project Fear (2010), Tarot (2009), Affliction(2008), and Casket for Hire (2007). With her stunning beauty, she is a personal fave in renowned ramp modeling.

Indeed this lady is filled with inner beauty on top of everything. Thanks again Aleera.  You too can join her in her Facebook page.

We all have our eccentricities and to varying extent that others simply love show off their talents, skills or in our songbirds' case, their fashion taste.

I am a big fan of Rihanna and Lady Gaga. They are angels from heaven with all their vocal talents but the choice for outfit is simply outrageous.  I guess I call it their own unique personality and come as a package. Well, outrageous or not, we just adore these great talents!

The Golden Beauties of Philipinne Cinema

I grew up when TV tubes were all white and black with their typical slide cabinets and since cartoons series were limited to the old Astroboy, Superman series, Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny among the many faves, I supremely loved the old movies of Philippine actors like Dolphy, Gloria Remero and the late Nida Blanca.

So, after decades of strings of movies and big - tube lives, I rarely see my golden icons. In spite of their soggy skin or awkward movements, I still find Dolphy and Gloria Romero stunning.

So, I give due tributes to these two great legendary icons along with the ones who passed away already.

Twilight Saga Eclipse Ladies Fashion Style

Kristen Stewart - The Vampire Girl of Twilight Phenomenon

I have read Twilight Saga books thrice and if I shall have again the time, I won’t hesitate to read them again. But, along with this liking is my interest too to see the personalities behind the characters. Who won’t miss the characters of Bella, Alice, Jacob and Edward among the rest of the cast?

I keep tabs on the love trio’s and I had my distaste on how Kristen Stewart preferred her fashion styles and lack of confidence. But, over time, her disdain for fashion and elegance has quite improved except for the occasional slouch or make faces, she’s a big surprise.

So, I got this article on how the Eclipse ladies seem to share the same taste when it comes to individual fashion statements albeit I quite personally Dakota Faning’s and Ashley Greene’s exuding self – esteem.

Underwear Fashion of Filipino Celebreties

I saw this from national news of a quite elegant showcase of underwear and I could only be glad when I saw Pokwang, a comedianne, kissing her male partners as she did her ramp. LOL!

Here's the news clip from ABS - CBN news page.

Aging but Beautiful

50+ but simply beautiful and gorgeous

I am soon to turn a year older and way up from calendar this coming June and some would say that I don't look my age, I can only be happier.

But, I can't help but be amazed with celebrities who in spite of their age look better and younger than their Generation Y counterpart.

These celebrities do have their fit exercises, diet, and other interventions to keep them young and beautiful.

Good thing even the general public can have access to the treatments like a prototype 37c and services these 50ish celebrities have.

For people whose age can be a problem, self esteem can be a little degraded but with right interventions and attitude, we can also have the Hollywood look.

Gorgeous Twilight Saga Eclipse Trailer

I am a fanatic of Twilight Saga and I have read twice already and shall be counting my third. hahahahah! Geez! I am simply in love with all the characters, plot, music and love story.

So, I can't wait to finally see the third edition of this phenomenon and I am pretty sure the entire world is at their seat waiting for June 30 to finally come.

For the meantime, check their movie tease.

Best and Worst Dressed in 2010 Cannes Film Festival

Cate Blanchett

I got this news flash on 2010 Cannes Film Festival. And, just like any awarding ceremony, I won't miss this for best and worst dressed celebrities. Other fashion raters have a fair rate however, a few found the fit of Cate Blanchett a No-No because of the odd print but I find this very unique and complements the dress cut and style. Well, fashion is subjective. But, Cate Blanchett makes it in my A list. LOL!

Hofit Golan

Another fashion style that I don't quite agree is the one used by Hofit Golan. This was marked under Worst Dressed but I quite find her choice unique and interesting and geez, I love the shoes hahhahahaha! Well, again, I may be wrong but this style is quite stunning.

The World's Fanciest and Strangest Stadiums

Stadiums are defined as large, usually open structures for sports events with tiered seating for spectators.

And, I was quite amazed to have found strangest and fanciest stadiums worldwide. The picture below is the Munich Olympic Park in Munich, Germany. It is the only one that have held Olympics, the World Cup Final and the European soccer championships final. Frei Otto, architect and structural engineer 's design of the Munich Olympic Park, has contributed significantly in tensile architecture.

If you have a great space for landscape, you can only be creative as to how you want this space maximized. And, if resources are unlimited, you can even be more and more creative.

If I want to maximize the garden space of our lots, I would have placed a pond and fill it with fishes and water plants. The water is believed to give a soothing effect and having a pond in the middle of my garden can be heavenly.

But, I don't want to house it with water pests and dirt. I heard there is a pond skimmer that can be used to clean ponds and hide their pumps.

With space, water, and great landscape, staying at home can be more than just fun.

Miss USA 2010 Crowned

photo: Miss USA Rima Fakih

source:  www.arabdetroit.com

I read this from Yahoo's headliner that Muslim immigrant Miss Michigan Rima Fakih earned the Miss USA 2010. It is pretty amazing because she beat 50 other contestants and the first Arab American to hold the title.

She indeed brings pride to  Michigan and Arab - American community.

Rockin Suit, Rockin Talent

I am an avid fan of Pilipinas Got Talent Jovit. And, I am only most excited that I had this Youtube clip of his performance on the semi - finals night. He simply has great talent  singing Carrie on his rockin suit. Everything was simply perfect for this young man. I hope he wins.

Filipino Fashion Designer Monique Lhuillier

Nothing makes  fellow Filipinos prouder than seeing another Filipino make a mark in global arena. So, I am only honored that I found this runway of Monique Lhuillier who is hailed from Cebu City, Philippines but has made tremendous statements in the fashion world through her glorious designs.

Her works were noticeably praised on red carpets, including Jamie-Lynn DiScala of The Sopranos and Will & Grace star Megan Mullally and  on the wedding of Britney Spears.

Truly, she makes the impression that Philippines is hometown for world class talents. We have Manny Pacquaio(boxer), Oliver Tolentino(fashion designer), Charice Pempengco(singer), and more.

Fashion Designer Kira Palestinian in Manila

I caught this news just days ago that the world's youngest fashion designer was in the Philippines to open one of her stores. COOL!

At the age of 14, she was able to have her own fashion line for teens and fashion stylists that include Paris Hilton, and Rachel Bilson among other celebrities.

In the Philippines, she has one store in SM and I am quite sure she will inspire a lot of fashion enthusiasts.

Fashion Business for Filipino Artists

As part of my morning regimen, I wake up quite early for morning jogs and blades. But, since it is weekend already, we get to watch Swak na Swak, a Filipino program on small scale businesses.

Of course, since my siblings and I are just new with business in spite of my mom's decade of furniture making, I am only interested how Filipinos thrive with  different industries. And, I can only be amazed that artists are into entrepreneurship too.

Just this morning, a beauty titlist, Daisy Reyes was featured with her soap and personally crafted sandals.  Now,  she  is only three  months old in business but she  is already exporting to Neatherlands. Quite inspiring, huh.

I guess this only proves that showbiz is never a long time career, these artists are just too sensible to fend for their future. I guess, we can only be inspired to do the same.

Animal Skin for Fashion Goodies

I adore animals except the rodents, roach, slimey and carnivores ones. LOL!  But, as much I love and adore fashion goody stuffs. I am  personally against drawing out skins for bags, belts, shoes and stuffs.

I guess the issue here is that we  just don't know how to draw the line when we hunt these animals for our  fancy savvy likings.

For one Chinchilla is a native rodent in Andes mountains part of South America and because they are hunted for their furs, they are near extinctions.

Sadly, one  of the most expensive renowned bag is made by Fendi Selleria priced at $38,000. The bag is made from skins of sable and Chinchilla.  Is this bag worth it? I say it is beyond this worth.

Dashing Twilight Lady on Oscars

Kristen Stewart at Oscars 2010

Since the prelude of Twilight saga series started, I am hooked to the entire stuffs that I keep on reading and re-reading the books and re-viewing the two movies.

Of course, my liking for the main cast is also so great that I keep a tab of what can be their next project.

Kristen Stewart for one was oftentimes criticized for her eccentric choice of clothing but I saw this picture of her at Oscars 2010 and simply she was captivating!  I can't wait for the third sequel of Twilight that is expected to come out this midyear.

2010 Oscar's Best and Worst Dressed

Penelope Cruz, simply beautiful

The much awaited Academy Award or formerly Oscar's Award was concluded last March 7, and it was aired live in the Philippines at 10 am, March 8. Although I had not seen the entire program, I had the chance to view the preliminary until Penelope Cruz presented the first award.

I indeed liked the red gown of Penelope, simply dashing but since I had not seen the entire award's night, I could only view what others seemed to consider as best and worst dress. Although, I would not agree to some of their classifications. I quite like too Mariah Carey, Demi Moore, Sandra Bullock and Cameron Diaz but disliked the fit choices of Zoe Saldana, Charlize Theron, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

The Much Awaited Oscar's 2010 Fashion and Winners

This coming March 8, the local TV station shall air live the grand Oscar's 2010 or the recent name now, Academy Award

I have been waiting for this date since not only that I shall be witnessing if my fave movies getting awards or not but most of all, I shall be seeing how actors and actresses shall show off their grand suits.

I quite liked how Penelope Cruz dressed up for Academy Award 2009 and I quite wonder how elegant and worst-styled some of the actors in that grand night. But, I wish to know  if 2010 can be more stylish with all the fantastic fashion accessories,  electric cigarette , dresses and tux.

I hope we can fully view the air coverage although it is a class day for everyone. Perhaps, I can stay before my class in the afternoon.  This award's night shall be something I won't miss at all and other fashion enthusiasts will simply be hooked to their big tubes.

The Talented: Rain

Rain

Another Korean actor I adore is Rain who recently made nice Hollywood films entitled Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin.

I first watched him in a drama series, Full House and since then, I never stopped looking out for his films. I do love romantic comedy stints, so his movies normally fit in my movie likings.

He is quite cute and a nice athletic bod. LOL! But, he is well known for his singing career and now into acting, business and modeling. I simply find this actor quite a yummy talent! hahhahah!
