Tips to Dressing Up Kids

Kids are not excused from becoming fashion trendy or looking good. Their becoming chubby or cute seems to be good enough to please the family or acquaintances that we normally ignore if they are comfortable with their outfits. 

My mom before would allow me to  wear any girlish dress, accessories and shoes but my other siblings were more exposed to wearing tomboy stuffs since my mom herself is all boyish with her actions and fashion taste. 

Some parents however, would want to really make their kids especially the girls appear pleasing and attractive that at young age, the girls are on high heels with sexy outfits that constrict their free - spirited  movements. 

I adore kids and if they are all neat and clean, I  wish I can just hug them but kids and adults must first and foremost consider comfort and ease in choosing any outfit. It is only natural to play and have fun may it be with dolls,  power wheels  , ball or board games.

Experts say that recreational fun is imperative not just among kids but also among adults to relieve of stress and to boost emotional intelligence among others.  Thus, parents and alike can all be trendy with our kid's fashion styles with due consideration on fun.

Finally, our wait was over as last July 18, we opened the boutique to the public and we were only happier that our blogger-friends had joined us in our celebration. 

The waiting indeed took as more than a year  and we were quite overwhelmed that finally, it is now realized. 

We simply would want to cater to mid and top classes that we need variety of stocks to fill in the boutique. We just have to find resources to do all these but the new opening attracts more people now and we can only be hopeful that sales will be better in the coming days.

Home - Made Fashion

My mom in - law is quite a talent; for one, she is a former government director, a boy scout international trainor, businesswoman, writer and fashion artist herself. She is a wonder woman along with a number of great women publicly or otherwise  known. 

Normally, she would make my kid and us  some pairs of sleepwear and the latest creation was a blouse she made for me.  The blouse was baggy, so, to make it all trendy and classy, I pair it with a belt and  sleek pants. The overall creation, then, was simply lovely. LOL!

Mothers are simply great in taking care of their youngsters even if they age until their prime, or when they have problems in relationships, health, work or even  adult acne.  This is only a basic illustration of how mothers simply love their families and as a mother, I am only happy to serve and take care of my own loved ones.  

So, in spite of the distance, we never miss to have a chat with mother in-law or give a call when needed. We quite miss her along with the rest of the family that we hope we can have them soon.

Fashion Tips for Pregnant Women

Some pregnant women believe that they are not sexy anymore when they see that their tummy's are all bulging and proud. I know the feeling because I was once guilty of this sentiment.

However, women can still look sexy without sacrificing comfort as they choose the right clothing.

1. Pregnant or not, pick the right color that complements your skin tone.

2. Pick clothing material like cotton that can provide flexibility in your clothing and contribute to feeling relaxed. I once hate clothes that made me perspire more, so, go for clothes that can provide ease above all.

3. Pick the right style. There are maternity dresses that do provide enough support for and access to the breast especially if you are lactating although the choice of bra can further  support this. 

4. Consider reusability. Some maternity dresses are loose but I still prefer to re-use them by acessorizing  the dresses even after pregnancy. I say that's comfort and sense rolled into one.

Pregnancy is quite a gift for most women and with this special condition requires special care and attention including pregnancy - friendly lifestyle including diet, vitamins like prenatal vitamins, beauty and exercise regimen.  I still believe that pregnant women are one of the most beautiful because they exude love and life beyond anything else.

Needing a Fashion Signage

We have been using this image on our hang tag but we wish to create our own personalized and crafted logo where we can place it on our signage, bags and
tags.

We are still waiting for resources and design, and I only hope that we can have all these ready before the opening date.

KREATIV is the name for creative sisters who simply have their own unique taste when it comes to fashion and from the passion for shopping, we were simply compelled to do what we love to do while earning. So, wish us good luck as we relocate to a mall space.

My kid simply loves to try  anything and the last adventure he had was to try the kayak and row it along with his Tito. 

He, however, was quite pissed when he was called to end his fun and head home after an hour of rowing. LOL!  

We shall surely go back to this place and will have more time doing the kayak together. 

Party Fashion Taste

When I joined the SOCCSKSARGEN bloggers' community, we since then have a number of events to include resto reviews, envi treks, establishment visits, concerts, and simply gimmicks.  We practically know everyone that even in Facebook, Plurk or Twitter can be an avenue of chit chat.

So, whenever we can, my sister and I along with my husband, join the community on my fave jeans, sexy and tube tops and sexy but comfy slip on sandals. 

What can be other means to have fun than to celebrate the day with loved ones and good friends. 

Our Boutique's Updates

We are supposed to open this July 8 for our new space, however, since we are tight in our budget, we try to prioritize our expenditures first to include signage and hang tags. The construction is not yet fully done as the ceiling still requires full painting and electrical outlets are still to be installed. 

As soon as this store gets officially opened, we need to have our business papers ASAP along with our mmf drawer , credit card swiper and sales system. 

I need to draw out the policies  on return of items and layaway program to avoid any  misunderstanding and complications like what we experienced before. 

We can only be optimistic with our initiative otherwise I may as well go back to fulltime teaching.

My Jollibee Man

I guess it is never unusual for Filipino kids to be with mascots like Jollibee or McDonalds. My kid like them a lot not because of their food but because of the toys he can get from the kid's or happy meals. LOL!

And, with busy time, we rarely bring him to his fave store and simply dine where we can hang conveniently hang around. 

I guess when he is not sick again, we can check the new toys on the racks again.

Bad Economy for Fashion Industry

The impact of economic recession continues to prevail making a good number of companies worldwide to retrench employees or to declare bankruptcy. The fashion industry remains plagued as people would rather prioritize their food, shelter, and education. In my country, the greater public would rather prefer semi-used clothing ("ukay-ukay") for their cheaper values. 

This quite makes me alarmed  as we place our boutique to a mall's space and with higher operational costs like rent and personnel salary, I can only get anxious but remain hopeful and innovative. 

This bad economy is really hitting almost everyone that supplemental revenues like affiliate program  can be an appealing option.  Some of my fellowmen would rather work abroad to compensate more for their working hours while the rest of Filipinos endure hard and difficult living. We can only hope that the economy fully recovers and that living can be comfortable again.

My sister decided to change the course of her life that we quite miss her at home. We can only hope he makes the right decision this time and with that absence, I miss doing beauty regimen, dining, and mall hopping among others. 

I guess I just have to hang out with friends again, so, not to miss her much.

Our Boutique's Updates

We are now closed to our opening date but we still have so many things to do - hang tags, opening stuffs, bags among others.

The last update of our store construction includes tiling of the floor and seeing the fixtures done. Although it is Sunday, they expect to have the wall painting today.  They may stay again in the midst of this store construction but I still have to work on my next week's wear which means doing my laundry and ironing fast. 

Sigh! We still have so many works to complete before the big day and we hope to get things all done by then. 

Boutique's Construction on the Go

We are halfway done with our store construction permanently situated in Gaisano Mall - Gensan and we hope to open on July 8 for continued good luck. We are through with the side walling, primer coating and fixtures  and will work on shelves, display racks and flooring as soon as we find less pricey materials to fill the store. 

Further, we shall be needing safety and entertainment  electronics  to have smoother and convenient store operations. 

It makes me more anxious that we may not make enough sales to compensate for the monthly rent, salary and other overhead costs, however, relocating the boutique to a more conspicuous place will improve our chances of selling our signature stuffs. 

Marketing and networking will surely improve our chances; we just have to take the risks and be innovative to survive.

Our younger sibling visited Singapore for a week and as customary for Filipinos traveling elsewhere, we normally bring gifts to our loved ones left at home, thus, our own sister got these nice pairs of ladies footwear from the renowned Charles and Keith. I find the styles all simple but classic and elegant. So, we can't really wait to get our hands to these hot stuffs! hahahhahah!

She will be returning home this Sunday and will only send by freight our gifts, so, come next week, we shall be sporting our hot goodies, a billingsgate knows exactly how it wants it. Yepey! 

Noodle Models? Yikes!

In the course of our beach escapade, we had the fun time with these gentlemen carrying their lit ads of some noodles quite unknown to us.

And, since almost everyone else had their pictures taken with these gorgeous men, my younger siblings and I had our fun time too. hahahhahah!

So, with these backs on us, we could only grin and be the noodle women. hahahhah!

Tattoo Designs

I adore tattoos if they are freshly made but once time erodes the color, they become too nasty to see. So, without compromising my good skin from permanent print, we prefer to use henna tattoo that can just wear off after two weeks.

There are celebrities who are publicly known for their fancy tattoos. Angelina Jolie alone has a good number while our local celebrity Ai Ai delas Alas has her arm and butt tattoos. LOL!

And, since schools prohibit tattoos much more on their teachers, I keep my tattoos on hidden parts. Last time I had visible ones, they were on my hand and ankle. A few students noticed them and I simply had a good tease with them all.

Life is always short, we can always have some spices in it and it includes trying tattoos for the heck of it.

My Running Shoes Again

I have been back to jogging and taebo again but like most women, monthly periods can impede usual regimen and although I tried jogging before in spite of my womanish condition, I was reprimanded by my family against jogging during monthly periods. So, that leaves me staying at home, watching movies, dining to my heart’s content but missing my running tracks again. Geez! I am beginning to enjoy the habit. Hahahhahah!

But, I shall be back to my morning regimen again and my sister shall join me as she takes the bike. I just have to sleep early and set my watch again for an early wake – up call.

Losing weight really requires tremendous efforts. Some people like me go for exercise and diet others seek best weight loss product and cosmetic surgery to shed off the extra weights fast.

Most people can really be vain when it comes to their looks. And, when unwanted lumps become visible, it is only natural to find alternatives to remedy the bulges regardless of the budget, time and efforts.

Boutique’s Idle Time

Since the second semester classes are over, I spend most of my time in our store. And, since store has always been bleak, I only hate long hours of waiting. Thus, I fill my time with reading, blogging, and watching movies. My kid on the other hand, has his PSP to enjoy with.

Our boutique is just next to my parents’ furniture display center. So, they keep the boredom at bay. At least, we have a TV but without the TV stands. I have to complain to my mom that tv stands keep TV safe, and she must, at least, have one. I hope my frequent reminders made senses to her.

When sales are bleak, they can really get into the nerves of store owners. Somehow, gadgets and pages are there to contain the crankiness and to inspire for hope and innovations.

Natural Beauty without the Fuss

My husband left for his hometown to attend to his cousin’s wedding and he did quite well in taking beautiful pictures with the aid of his SONY DSLR camera. The entire family commended his works over the professional services of a hired photographer.

So, since then, the rest of his kin asked him to hold photo shoots and he highlight the natural beauty of his family when he blurred the background or changed its setting for dramatic effects.
The camera and the lenses were given to him as gift, and, now that our birthdays are forthcoming, we only wish that we receive our hearts’ desires including iPad, security cameras, watch and jewelry.

Geez! I hope I have given enough cues to my loved ones as to what I want for my birthday!
