zwani.com myspace graphic comments
Myspace Fashion Graphics

My mom quite complained of the number of shoes we keep at home and since we are all for girls in the family, just imagine the number of footwear on the rack and everywhere else.

But, in spite of her complaint, I cant simply forego my vanity along with my obsession for bags. waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

But, vain or not, shoes are my life. hahahhahah!!

Twilight Saga Eclipse Ladies Fashion Style

Kristen Stewart - The Vampire Girl of Twilight Phenomenon

I have read Twilight Saga books thrice and if I shall have again the time, I won’t hesitate to read them again. But, along with this liking is my interest too to see the personalities behind the characters. Who won’t miss the characters of Bella, Alice, Jacob and Edward among the rest of the cast?

I keep tabs on the love trio’s and I had my distaste on how Kristen Stewart preferred her fashion styles and lack of confidence. But, over time, her disdain for fashion and elegance has quite improved except for the occasional slouch or make faces, she’s a big surprise.

So, I got this article on how the Eclipse ladies seem to share the same taste when it comes to individual fashion statements albeit I quite personally Dakota Faning’s and Ashley Greene’s exuding self – esteem.

My Hot - Gift Shoes

My sister's Tammy preferred style from Charles and Keith

My own style from Charles and Keith

Our younger sibling visited Singapore for a week and as customary for Filipinos traveling elsewhere, we normally bring gifts to our loved ones left at home, thus, our own sister got these nice pairs of ladies footwear from the renowned Charles and Keith. I find the styles all simple but classic and elegant. So, we can't really wait to get our hands to these hot stuffs! hahahhahah!

She will be returning home this Sunday and will only send by freight our gifts, so, come next week, we shall be sporting our hot goodies, a billingsgate knows exactly how it wants it. Yepey!

Strolling Bathing Suits Banned

I found this article about world's strangest laws and one striking law is the one imposed in Grenada where tourists walking off the beach in their swimsuits and even too low pants are actually banned. Geez! On a beachside, that's really pretty strange!

You were supposed to be fined $270 but the tourist board assures the public that this was not really realized. WHew!!!

How I really wish I had my own piece of swimsuit since the last trip we had in Puerto Galera, I only had to sport on shorts and tee - shirts. hahahahahh!

My prior joggings did not fully remove the belly lumps I have and they can really be depressing to show off. Diet and exercise are really very difficult to start and sustain. And, knowing that there are fast remedies like Lipovox can be indeed heaven - sent.

I wish after all my weight - loss efforts, I can find a very appealing swimsuit to show off the next time we head the beach again.

Needing a Cute Purse, Bag and . . .

I guess I am quite vain when it comes to shoes and bags. GeeZ, I must have a dozen even after relinquishing the old ones to friends and family members. But, my basic rule is to have at least different color to mix and match with my everyday attire.

Now, that it is school day again, I wish to have bags of color yellow and . .. . hmnnn, I guess I have all the colors in my closet already. Hahahahah! But, I wish to have another purse to hold all the big stuffs of papers and receipts and pictures. I am simply a cuddler for trash. Hahahahah!

But, along with these wishes, I still want sandals of colors black, blue, and pink. Geez! My income is not even enough to buy all I want for myself. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

When Life Vest Ruins the Fashion Day

When my siblings and I decided to head to Puerto Galera for an overnight stay, we packed our things at the middle of the night and only brought the essentials.

Sad thing though, we did not even have the chance to buy our swimsuits. So, we simply wandered around the fine sands of Puerto Galera on shorts, shirts and flip flops while almost everyone else was in their trunks and swim wears. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

We had the chance to go snorkeling and fish feeding and explored an underwater cave together with other tourists. They were on their fancy swimsuits while we were on shirts and disgusting vests. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! We looked like idiots although the vests were helpful in making our swim more fun. Hahhhahhah!

But in spite of the travel’s lapses, we simply had great time and the people of Puerto Gelera were simply amazing. It was worth the visit and worth the gruesome vest. LOL!

Runaway Swimwear

We spent two days in Puerto Gallera and since it was a last - minute decision,  I ended up having no swimwear at  all.

I only packed all the basic essentials including my laptop as I still have delayed works that I have to accomplish. Thus, I ended up only on shorts and t-shirts while the rest were boosting their 2 - piece attire. What a vacation?!!!

But, after a long travel and a short rest, we hit the area and did some area inspections and had great time snorkeling and swimming.

At least, my kid and siblings had great time too.  We will sure visit this wonderful tourist spot soon. But,  I am planning to start preparing a year earlier for my next trip and that includes looking for a swimwear to stash into my travel bag right away. hahahhahah!

Things My Bag Should Not Be Wtihout

I am not really that vain in terms of looking and feeling good but for one, I want to be neat and appealing at all times. hahhahhah!

But, if you have to ransack through my bag, here are the things that you will usually find:

1. alcohol

2. VS perfume

3. pressed powder

4. petroleum jelly

5. blush on and lipstick

6. twisser

7. face oil control films

8. deodorant

9. hair ponytails

10. comb

11. tissue

12. wallet

13. keys

14. pocket book

The rest will have to be candies or chocolates, water, and trash of yesterday's walks. hahahhahah!  So, the bag is always full and heavy.

My Fashion Wish List

Soon it will be my birthday and if I can really get my wishes answered, I would want to have these:

1. Pearl – stud gold bangle and ring
2. Tisot watch
3. Apple Ipod Touch
4. Guess purse
5. Complete make up set
6. Doll shoes
7. Pants
8. Office blouses
9. And some chocolate sundaes

Hmnnnn! This wish list is not at all too impossible to achieve, I just have to give cues to my friends and loved ones. Hahahhahah!

We Are Vain But. . ..

Men are as vain as women that beauty and body products are just practically for both sexes covering from hair to toenails. LOL! Beauty regimens for both genders of course include body spa, acne cleanser, whitening or tanning, body stuffs and cosmetic surgery. These are heavenly especially, when they are within our resources and when they are really effective. I am practically guilty of some stuffs I keep for my beauty habit.

These are indeed heaven sent considering the elation we will be deriving from our plain or severe vanity. What makes vanity so wrong is when we sacrifice our health because of ignorance and concern for cheapest – but - compromising services or products. These are commonly the reasons why there are adverse effects of cosmetic surgeries or beauty products simply because some physicians or cosmetic service providers claim they are highly competent but their services speak otherwise. Also, I can’t count the times when some cosmetic products brought terror instead because of ill ingredients in the products.

Thus, vanity is acceptable but we have to be vigilant of our health and evaluate only with our legitimate physicians all drawbacks and good sides of any surgery or beauty product. No sane person will choose to compromise himself over his vanity but it pays to be more careful and choose only effective and safe services and goodies. We don’t want to end up on hospital beds other than beauty reasons.

Do You Want These Beauty Cosmetics?

Bird's Poop Facial Treatment

I quite have read some strange and unique sources for beauty regimen. I have seen these products made from goat's milk, placenta, soya, plant's extracts and many more.

But, what if your beauty products come from more strange sources like bird's poop, bull's semen, or gorilla snot? Geez, they give me creeps but in some countries like United Kingdom or Mexico, these sources are actually commercially used and sold.

I only wondered if there are really health studies on these and good reviews like colon cleanse reviews to boost.

Click here to read more of these.

De-stressor? Parlor and Shopping Work For Me

Forgive my title but indeed when I am stressed, I normally go around shopping malls, look around and buy around. hahhahaahhah! I am not however, an impulsive buyer, just an impulsive eater. Gosh! Stress can indeed increase your weight and decrease your face value that pimples and acne and wrinkles just mushroom without a fight.

I have my pimple solution but I guess it has passed over its potency since I could not see desired effects. I might as well start considering other options. There are now pimple and acne treatments that are safe, and effective at reasonable rates.

The bottom line here is that we find ways how to de-stress. It can be through shopping, exercise, eating, dating or something else otherwise our physical being goes down with our mental and emotional knockouts.

Missing My Style

When I was a college teacher, I was all dressed up with slacks, long sleeves but highlighted with belts and accessories, bags and shoes. My students would normally complement what I wear but I loved what I would feel whenever I know I look good.

However, when I got the office job, my wardrobe is limited to jeans, polo shirts and rubber shoes since the place we normally go to is all rocky. I dont want to spoil my pair of shoes though.hahhahahah!

But soon, I will be back to my old ways and my old fancy shoes. hahhahah!

Beware: Imitated Branded Bags

I guess imitation is a global problem. It may only have a difference when a country is more strict and consistent in tracking down and stopping fakes to go public. Philippines is not at all excused from this plague. There are commissioned government units that do apprehend fakes, mostly, multimedia copyright properties but rarely on bags, shoes or pants or accessories.

We were to buy some COACH bags and that the sellers claimed they are original stuffs. But, since we are educated to distinguish fakes from not, we know better. And so, we honestly tell our clients originals from imitation products so not to mislead and deceive them. I only wish other businessmen can be as honest.

I indeed bought that COACH bag for less but I did not get the worth of my money since only after two (2) of use, the straps’ leatherette is cutting through. What a total waste of hard earned money!

Shopping! Oh, Shopping!

Shopping malls definitely exist for women. Sorry, guys but women are just honestly vain for beautiful stuffs. Hahhahahah! Every one shops that is however, for sure but most of the buyers are normally women. They may be buying for themselves or for their loved ones but stores are normally flocked with the raging power girls.

And since, we have our fashion store, we want to maximize internet by selling our stuffs online. Although, I am quite careful with the use of credit card details since thieves are just anywhere, on and offline though.

So, it is nice to know that there is identity theft protection where one can be at ease regardless where he or she buys. What can be more painful if your credit card balance rocketed to galaxy Z by a total stranger? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! It can be a total nightmare.

The Vanity Price

To what extent can you risk for your vanity? We are vane all right in some ways or another. Goodness! I am always vane with shoes, bags and clothing and weight! hahahhah! But, if you ever ask me if I have to go through some vanity surgery to eliminate unwanted lumps or bulges or deformities, perhaps I will try.

But, what dread me the most is that not all vanity surgeries can be safe. In the Philippines alone, there are quack or fake doctors that do beauty surgery at the health risk of their patients. I can't blame fully these patients who go to a low-profile beauty experts for a lower price but may be unsure of their safety.

Safety is everyone's concern but companies and professionals alike must take their social obligations and responsibility seriously. As quoteed from Canada Free Press, Toni Sullivan, a real estate agent in Markham, Ontario, died from a massive blood clot in the lung two days after excess fat was removed by liposuction. There are indeed several cases of vanity surgery killers but apart from these, there are health products that do give false or deceiving information like from Colonix reviews.

It is indeed to be noted that we must always be conscious of what we take into our body or what will our body go through. I would rather be nosy and careful than sorry.

Vanity# 1: Watches

My babies

How vain am I? I want to be modest, so in the scale of 1-10 with 1 as the least vain and 10 as the most vain, I rate myself as a 7. Hahahahha!

As a starter, one of my vanities is wrist watch. At this time, I have 8 watches from the brands of Acqua, Timex, Sprinto, Cartier, George, Anne Klein II, Fossil, Benetton of Bulova. I really don't mind the price provided that I like it and and within my means. Some of these were given to me by family members. So, I just couldn't be happier. Hahhahaha!

This is vanity? It is sure is to me !
