Boutique: My Weight Burner

I used to jog on weekdays and do taebo on weekends but with teaching works, newly - opened boutique, and blogging, I can't have anymore time to do my exercise regimen.  I simply have to make use of my vacant time to prepare for my lessons, do my business control and planning or write my blog posts.  I simply have no time left to do my running again.

My mom before would allow me to  wear any girlish dress, accessories and shoes but my other siblings were more exposed to wearing tomboy stuffs since my mom herself is all boyish with her actions and fashion taste. 

Some parents however, would want to really make their kids especially the girls appear pleasing and attractive that at young age, the girls are on high heels with sexy outfits that constrict their free - spirited  movements. 

I adore kids and if they are all neat and clean, I  wish I can just hug them but kids and adults must first and foremost consider comfort and ease in choosing any outfit. It is only natural to play and have fun may it be with dolls,  power wheels  , ball or board games.

How to Appear Lady-like on Camouflage Fashion

Athletic attire or comouflage looks were least of my concerns before as I was no athlete when I was younger nor an athlete now but I love to do recreational exercise which to this date has included airsoft games, badminton, bowling, basketball and jogging. 

During an airsoft game, we are required to be on our uniform with protection masks against passing through pellets. But, in spite of this, we get the bruising depending on the hit's proximity.

Airsoft game is normally played by men, however, because of the adrenaline rush, excitement and impact on weights, women begin to consider this  men - once - dominated sport. Personally, I have to still put on my earrings, tie my hair with a cute but not too conspicuous ponytail and with a sexy, light but powerful airsoft gun.  The ending is always a blast!!!!  I quite miss it though that I hope I can next join friendly tourney.

My Kayak Man

My kid simply loves to try  anything and the last adventure he had was to try the kayak and row it along with his Tito. 

He, however, was quite pissed when he was called to end his fun and head home after an hour of rowing. LOL!  

We shall surely go back to this place and will have more time doing the kayak together.

I am a die - hard fan of some selected Korean films and had seen a good number of Korean movies and TV series but all my time favorites include the Boys Over Flowers cast.

This is indeed a total mania as the the series alone had been played on national channels 4x at least. hahhahahah! I have 3 copies of the CD alone and had seen it more than 3x at different languages. hahahha!

But, I could never get over this series because it is fun, romantic and sweet that you seem to remember falling in love again and again. Geez!

Noodle Models? Yikes!

In the course of our beach escapade, we had the fun time with these gentlemen carrying their lit ads of some noodles quite unknown to us.

And, since almost everyone else had their pictures taken with these gorgeous men, my younger siblings and I had our fun time too. hahahhahah!

So, with these backs on us, we could only grin and be the noodle women. hahahhah!

Boutique’s Idle Time

Since the second semester classes are over, I spend most of my time in our store. And, since store has always been bleak, I only hate long hours of waiting. Thus, I fill my time with reading, blogging, and watching movies. My kid on the other hand, has his PSP to enjoy with.

Our boutique is just next to my parents’ furniture display center. So, they keep the boredom at bay. At least, we have a TV but without the TV stands. I have to complain to my mom that tv stands keep TV safe, and she must, at least, have one. I hope my frequent reminders made senses to her.

When sales are bleak, they can really get into the nerves of store owners. Somehow, gadgets and pages are there to contain the crankiness and to inspire for hope and innovations.

Appreciating Deep Urban Fashion

My kid and I are enjoying our vacation in Manila to meet my siblings and at the same, have good fun too. Every day we get to hop from one mall to another just for the heck of it. And I quite get fascinated of the number of fashion stalls I can check.  There are some store names that are locally present too in Gensan but most of the stalls are new ones to me. I can only see through their products and perhaps, buy if something attracts my attention.

Somehow, the trips help me get some tips as to how I will package my mall boutique, mix and match colors and all.

I just hope that our new undertaking will be not in vain.

Summer Wear For Us

We are on the last day of our final exam and my test is scheduled late this afternoon. I was able to finish checking and recording my other subject and I hope that I can finish my other test just in time for our month - end's clearance.


After this month's requirements and examinations, I am officially off - work and shall start my two - month vacation. I have no reason anymore to miss my jogging and biking every morning. If only sleeps are not that heavenly, then I can really hit the road as early as 6 am.  


Sometimes, when it is harder to wake up, I wish I can just buy a  treadmill   and just do my regular jogs at home. Then, I don't have to miss my regular exercise and complain of my lumpy legs and belly.  I must dig already my running and biking outfits again. This summer shall be one hot time for us Filipinos.  
 


Experts do say that it takes 15-30 minutes of exercise before we can really burn our fats, so I have to be on running and biking mode for at least an hour. Even if I wish I have a fit figure, I can't have that unless my diet goes with physical exercise. Staying fit is never really easy and instant. 

Simple, Touchy and Comfy . .

My sister, Tammy dragged us to one of the malls here in General Santos City and since the power energy curtailment was on its schedule of cutting off the power again, we were only happy to be obliged to her whims.

But, to our surprise, she brought us to the KTV room of an entertainment store. We were asked to select 13 songs and  had fun time recalling titles. LOL!

I was all tensed singing before a bigger crowd although I must say, we were enclosed in a sound - proof room. LOL!!!! Thus, after one song, we were singing to our hearts' content. We ended up having highest scores on the screen. Hahahhaha!

I wish we can have this luxury at  home and a spa area with spa cover  to boost.   If resources are not a problem, my wish house shall be fully equipped with hotel - like amenities. LOL!  

With an hour of singing and laughing, it was one sweet afternoon that I won't forget.

Cool Super Heroes' Outfit

My kid and I are avid fans of superheroes from Marvel. These include Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Iron man, Superman, Dare Devil and others. 

But, what is typical among superheroes is their fancy outfits. I adore the bright colors  of Superman or Xmen. My kid has his collection of his fave movies that we simply don't get over with constant playing.

Although, the penchant for superheroes has been increasing, this goes to say that people are somehow tired with harsh reality that supernatural is opted for fun and temporary illusion.  

I wonder if aging process can be reversed like through hgh  that can do wonders for aging people like me. hahhaha!

This 2010, I can't wait to watch Iron Man 2, Green Lantern, and the third edition of Twilight Saga.

My family is recreation - inclined. We did start with airsoft games where we did purchase some airsoft gears and units which include full uniform and accessories. 

We did try mountain biking, ziplining and hiking among other things.  Of course, the needed gears and outfit must go well with these recreations to at least be comfortable.

But, once in a while we do card and machine games may it be online or at a game house. The family in Wisconsin travels to Las Vegas just for some fun. And, if they wish to check which house is better for casino entertainment, they just check the reviews and and prevailing perks and bonuses.

I wish in the Philippines, it will snow. We wish to do many things with the snow. For one, skating and ski would be two of the things that I should do with the ice.

Although, in certain areas of the country ice rinks are developed for figure or ice skating. So, in spite of our tropical weather, most of the people who live in the city go through different recreational activities to boost.

But, one of the things I wish I can try is skiing. The skiing equipment is definitely expensive but then it also mean, finding ways how to do the hobby at minimal rates.

Cool Ski Fashion

I am always fascinated with skiing although in the Philippines, this is quite remote. But, my family in Wisconsin where considered to be the coldest state in USA, love to go skiing on the city's play area. They have been wanting to find a new place for tourist visit and real skiing is highly favored. There are indeed a number of sites offering ski deals and Fast Track Ski is highly preferred for its best ski visits.

In a pretty cold place, one can only wear the most appropriate ski fashion; something that is warm, comfortable and stylish. Normally, the attire takes 3 layers at the minimum to keep the person warmed.

But, in my case, since I am allergic to coldness, I shall be getting more than 3 layers! I may be using a heater to complement the warm attire. My biological family will somehow require number of attire layers just to heat them up!

My kid quite loves the snow so, skiing shall complete his liking for inline blades. We quite support his recreation as a form of exercise. So, I am pretty sure that skiing can be as exciting. There are indeed good ski destinations including Austria, France, Italy, Canada and Andorra. I wish my Wisconsin family can finally visit one of the coolest and nicest destination for skiing.

How important are proper attire during sports or recreation? I can only say I will wear what I like regardless if they are appropriate or not. hahahhahahah!

Normally, I only wear my running shoes, jogging pants and wind-through shirt for biking and loose shirt for jogging. But, when we play inline blades, 3/4 pants and tight shirt work well for me.

I kinda miss all these fun and I want to try new recreations like tennis, or ping pong. However, I must first have my racket and ping pong tables .

I would want to have a right pair of shoes first since my running shoes won't do good in the new games I would to play. I could at least ask my inlaws to send me a good pair, eh. hahhahahah!

Fancy Musical Plays Costumes and More

I love watching movies a lot but only if they are action-packed, musical or romantic-comedy. For me, watching movies are relaxing and entertaining. Although, not the entire family share the same sentiments but I guess what matters is what I love for me to be recharged from day-to-day’s stress.

Filipinos, for one, love television and theater operas a lot. However, they sometimes bore me to death. So, I would prefer musical plays instead. However, I don’t have the liberty to watch them live since they are played elsewhere, so, I settle for taped musical shows or movies. I loved best Mama Mia, Enchanted and High School Musical a lot.

But, my family in Wisconsin travel a lot for fun and they will surely love the opportunity to watch New York Musical Theatre Festival where it shall stage fine actors, directors and other artists in their grand performance on their equally ravishing costumes and stage designs with grand orchestra to complement the theater air. Music for me is a therapy. So, I guess this is also true for other music lovers all over the world. In other countries, including Korea, they have similar musical theater festival called Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) that has recently partnered with New York Musical Theater Festival.

Theater plays had long existed since the time of Shakespeare but for sentimental persons like me, I can easily be captivated by the talents of acting and singing that I get carried away too with their stories and their drama. It is only a great delight that theater arts have persisted over time with technology and culture diversity that make the theater arts more exciting. Further, studies show that music therapy contributes to mental and spiritual upbeat.

So, how I wish, I shall have the equal chance of seeing this musical festival. Anyways, for those who are music and theater fanatics, you can actually get the festival’s tickets online, just check their site. This festival shall run from September 28 to October 18 and can be your chance to discover new talents of artists, directors, and more! I can't wait to see all the costumes the cast will sport on.

My Bicycle Wear

It has been a week since my partner and I go on mountain bikes. We circle around the city and drive at least an hour.

But, I still have to complete my attire since I only wear my air cool shirt and long tight jogging pants and my running shoes. I don't even have my bike helmet.

I must eventually invest on complete gears if I really want to pursue this as an alternative to jogging.
