Missing Stock Exhibits

We had these pictures taken during a mall exhibit and although we had draining days, the exhibit was fun but we did not really earn much from the exhibit that I decided not to join again.

But, the good thing with exhibit, our old stocks were sold and I get to replenish them with newer ones.

I hope our mall space occupancy gets realized, so, we can sell the stuffs.

Since the exhibit organizer would not return the cash downpayment for the mall exhibit, my sister was forced to push through with it. Although, I may say the organizer had no ground to pursue since the agreed physical arrangement is different from the actual setup.  This only compelled me not to do business anymore with this organizer and just pursue the mall space leasing.

Tammy, my sister, would have to display her fashion accessories and wish that the sales will still be better off peak season.

We can only support her since we want her to do something revenue - making instead of just hanging around with friends. Good luck to her.

Packed Fashion Boutique

Since we were done with the last exhibit where our sales were depressing, we simply hailed packed the stuffs through big boxes and kept them in the boxes since we were thinking, we would move them anyways to our permanent mall space.

But, another month had passed, the mall space remains a remote idea because paper approvals are still pending. 

Our old space are quite constricted with boxes, displays and dust. I wish we have bigger space,  more display racks  and air filter   to clean the dusty and damp air.

We shall be joining the mall exhibit again this January. I can only wish we can do better with the sales.  Also, I hope the mall construction will start soon.

We shall be done  with our food stall exhibit, and it was all exhausting with not much sales. Sigh!  I have to find really means to increase sales from exhibit in spite of economic crisis.  

Businesses are raking low on income when operational costs and taxes drain the sales. And since, we don't have the mall lease yet, my sister decided to join mall exhibit at lower daily rent to sell off accessories and RTW's for me. 

I really wish we can make up with the losses.

Another Pending Fashion Store Exhibit

My sister, Tammy, wishes to go on bazaar exhibit again for our boutique as we wait for the mall's go signal on our permanent space lease. 

I would want to  have a break first from the continues exhibit since September but she is quite scarce with stocks that she persuaded me to try again.

We shall be packing again our RTW's and accessories to the mall through the family van. Somehow, the van had become a great help since it arrived from our old home. 

We did experience some mechanical glitches with it that rv towing  could have been helpful.  We remembered leaving it on the road since it  was too late to bring the mechanic to fix it. 

But, the family service had become a tremendous help not only for family travel but also for business operations.

We have to find means in the future to help upgrade and maintain it for lasting use. We may have to seek our parents' help to do all the needed upgrades. 

For the meantime, we shall endure the family van as we close the food stall and start the fashion exhibit again.

Getting Ready for Our Mall Boutique Space

We quite thought that the construction for the mall space shall be done this December to catch up with the holiday buying frenzy. However, the mall admin was simply too loaded with so many stuffs that we could only wait for them to be finally ready.

We did submit our store perspective earlier, hoping it would be approved soon, so we can work on their other requirements. Perhaps, by early next month, we can have the construction done and going. 

 

For now, we make use of our old store for regular stay. We have been moving our stocks almost to anywhere because of the store exhibits that we appear like  motorhomes   for posterity and portability.

We did not unpack anymore our stuffed things since we thought  we could move to our permanent space. We could not also find time to rearrange them since we are quite busy with our food stall too. Sigh!

The mall space that we have been waiting for is finally being constructed. We can only be anxious and excited about it that I hardly sleep thinking of ways how I can raise enough capital to sustain the interior designs and new cheaper stocks.

Business management is quite tough compared to just reading it from the notes. I can only take wisdom from those who have been in the industry for a long time. Learn from their mistakes and re-live the good practices.

By then, we shall relocate our stocks from the mall exhibit and the old place.

Our Robinsons Mall Exhibit was supposed to end tonight since we were just earning little compared to the exhaustion we put in.

I have to hurdle between attending to the business and writing reviewers for my kid. But, after negotiation with the organizer and my sister, Tammy, we decided to extend our stay at Robinsons until October 13 and at Gaisano until October 16.

I have been having zero sales from the past 2 days. I pretty guess that the consumer prefer to stay more at the newly opened Robinsons than the old Gaisano.

I just hope our sales would improve because records show that we are losing instead of earning. Sigh!

Mall Exhibit for Our Boutique

Since Monday, our boutique has been on mall exhibit. However, we kinda having slow sales since we only have imported stuffs and people would only buy cheaper ones although quality is compromized.

We were also invited to join the Robinsons Market Bazaar but my sister is hesitant since we may be having the same experience as we are experiencing today.

I only pray that we get better sales in the coming days especially now that payday is around the corner.

Getting A Better Fashion Exhibit Area

In business, location is one of the topmost criteria to consider. We are currently situated in a place where people don't go much. So, we have been wanting to find a better location, and a shopping mall is our topmost choice.

Although our permanent mall space is not yet constructed, we prefer the exhibit than nothing at all. So, by Sunday, there shall be an exhibit again inside Gaisano Mall.

Fashion Store Exhibit in Few Days

We have been waiting for our permanent space in Gaisano Mall. However, the construction has not started yet that we were getting all anxious and impatient with the timing.

Taken during our first mall exhibit at Gaisan-Gensan Mall with my sister Tammy and masteral classmate doing our IT project.

We were only glad that our previous exhibit organizer has made a mall exhibit inside Gaisano Atrium again to start this September 28 until October 16. And since I shall be soon be resigned from office effective October 1, I could only find this opportunity timely and exciting. It could be more relaxing to man the store just like when one reads a good book, shopping or playing at Myrtle beach golf .

Come Sunday, we shall organize our displays of apparel, accessories, bags and shoes. Good luck to us! I wish we can do better sales.

Our Store is Packed

Our stocks from US had arrived last weekend and we had to move some old stocks into the closet while others are still on pile. Our little store has appeared loaded when every space is now occupied from apparel to shoes.

I have left my sister, Tammy to do the management since I am now loaded with my new work.

We wish to get a mall space because that is the only area where a number of customers can see what we sell.

I just have to find the time first to apply for leasing. tsk tsk tsk! Good luck to us!

Fashion Store Gets Remodelled

After our store exhibit in Gaisano Mall - Gensan, we have boxes of shirts and other stuffs to keep and since our old store is only a small sanctuary, I have asked my family to maximize the space.

Now, we have layers of hangers and stuffs to fill in the space. We removed fixtures too to have a more conspicuous view of the store from inside and out.

I hope before my sister, Tammy, shall bring the new stocks, we can sell some old stuffs to have bigger space. I am keeping my fingers crossed then. Hahhahaah!

Fashion Store Exhibit Soon To End

After a long month of mall exhibit, we will finally go back to our old place and back to our usual routine. Funny that we seem to consider our daily stay in Gaisano-Gensan MalL as part of our regular schedules.

We have befriended other stall helpers and my kid has good friends too among the kids there. So, by May 3, we will finally pull out from mall stall and go back to our humble nook.

Exude Sexiness from Big Sizes Clothes

When we started with our fashion boutique, we only had clothes for smaller people since my sister Tammy and I are of smaller built. Consequently, we purchased stuffs that would fit well on us. We failed to buy for bigger body frames. Our customers then would look for bigger clothes but elegant, chic and sexy ones for them to boost.

So, Tammy would search for sexy but bigger size of apparel and bigger sizes of shoes. Now, we cater to wide variety of body sizes and we are just happy that we have the items our customers search for.

I have to scout for bigger clothes now since I went from size 1 to size 3 again. However, I really need to exercise, to diet and to take weight loss product for me to fit on my old clothes.

Part of the store's items for display and sale are some of the earrings from US. I have to praise the crafts of US artists for their detailed artistry. I would rather use them than the ones purchased elsewhere because of their unique beauty and quality.

Summer Dresses 2009

We are now on our second week as a mall exhibitor, and I asked my sister, Tammy to get us more colorful summer dresses since the lady customers want to see and buy them more often.

The summer dresses are somehow made in cotton while others in polyester and we just price them between 300.00 ($7.00) - 500.00 ($12.00). These are quite affordable than the ones we see online or in malls.

But, I checked what top brands exhibit for summer and their prices, I then find these beauty from www.summer-dresses.2heels.com.

We are now on our fourth day as an independent exhibitor in Gaisano-Gensan. My sister, Tammy and I, man the store from 9 am to 7 pm while the other family members help in between.

There are about 15 other stalls where most of them also sell fashion apparel. We sell our Bangkok and Hongkong items complimented with USA stocks and highlighted with authentic Havaianas.

The customers do come and go but we make few sales in between. We just hope that in the coming days, we will get more and more sales from the buying public.

We, however, are still expecting our stocks from US but the Forex distributor in Davao is stalling the boxes. We only wish they will come sooner before holy days otherwise, we will be wasting much of our chances of selling more.

Our Store Gets Rolling in Mall Exhibit

As written in my previous post, we officially started yesterday in our exhibit in Gaisano Gensan. We stayed the whole time with my sister, Tammy while she is joined by our hired sales lady. We partnered with a family friend in this almost-a-month exhibit.

So, on our first day, we had a pretty good sale from our US shoes, bags and apparel from Liz Claiborne, Bandolino, Franco, Aerosols, Arizona, Victoria Secrets, R2 cut at 50% discounts.

The family is quite busy now as I type since we are given until April 16, 2009 to exhibit our store's products inside Gaisano Mall Gensan.

We are busy recording the items, pricing and stuffing them into bags and boxes. The entire family is helping out. We shall be however busy in the coming days, manning our mall stall and at the same time, staying in our old store.

We wish to gain more sales from this exhibit and exposure. Wish us luck!
